More than 500 people turned out in support of Stewart’s Caring Place for the 16th annual Butterfly Gala.

The Butterfly Gala was presented at the home of Chuck and Amy Gray in Bath. Guests enjoyed cocktails, dinner presented by a Taste of Excellence, a live and silent auction and dancing. Pink Petals provided the floral design for the event.

Sara Shookman served as master of ceremonies and Dr. Steven “Skip” and Dr. Julia Radwany, strong supporters of Stewart’s Caring Place Cancer Wellness Center, were recognized at the event with the Spirit Award, and served as its honorary chairs.

Funds raised at Butterfly Gala will support a large portion of the expenses for programs and services offered throughout the year. Butterfly Gala was made possible by the work of a volunteer gala steering committee and a donation of services by many.

In its 16th year, Stewart’s Caring Place, a Cancer Wellness Center, is an Ohio-based non-profit organization that provides support services at no charge to individuals and families touched by cancer. The center serves 15 counties and offers more than 150 programs and services, including lectures and workshops, a resource center, healing arts, community referrals, movement classes, attorney consults, children and family programs, support groups, wigs and more.
