Great Lakes Theater will present Offstage Bash – Great Lakes Theater’s 2021 Virtual Gala on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at 7:30 p.m. (Pre-show Welcomes & Special Guest Toasts at 7 p.m.). The event will be an evening full of entertainment featuring a virtual performance full of songs and stories from Great Lakes Theater alumni, an interactive trivia game, and visits from a few surprise guests. Offstage Bash guests are invited to complete their gala evening by adding on a delicious dinner from Driftwood Catering and a hand-selected bottle of wine to share, prepared for pre-show pickup at the Hanna Theatre, Playhouse Square.Unique raffle items and “Buy It Now” experiences contribute to the excitement of this virtual event. Hospice of the Western Reserve to host Walk to Remember at Cleveland Metroparks Zoo on Sunday, June 13 at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo.  Registration is now open and includes all-day admission to the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo and RainForest and a commemorative Walk to Remember face mask. Wristbands will be issued to each visitor for admission and you must use them to enter the zoo by 1 p.m. on walk day. We will be observing the Metroparks’ COVID-19 protocols per the state of Ohio. Social distancing will be observed, face masks are required and will be provided. Fairmount Center for Fine Arts to present “Fairmount 500” August 26, providing the opportunity for an individual to win $15,000. Only 500 tickets are available and sales will end August 25, 2021 at midnight (or when all 500 tickets have been sold). The drawing will be held (winner need not be present) on the evening of Thursday, August 26, 2021 during the culminating reception of the 45th Annual Fairmount Art Exhibition.
