6 p.m. social hour, dinner at 7 p.m. and performance at 8 p.m. in the Ballroom at Kent State University Student Center. Hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar, dinner, performance of the Kent State University Orchestra under the direction of Dr. Jungho Kim. This annual event raises thousands of dollars in scholarships for the orchestra’s student musicians. A highlight of the evening will be the announcement of the winner of The Leopold Sipe Award, given yearly to an outstanding orchestra musician.
