Cleveland Natural History Museum, “Sip and Sparkle”

At the Cleveland Museum of Natural History, 6 to 8:30 p.m. David Saja, PhD, William R. & Anne. J. Cook Endowed Chair of Mineralogy will lead attendees on a tour of the Museum’s Gem Hall including the Jeptha Homer Wade II Gem Collection and its exceptional colored diamonds. Attendees will enjoy hearty appetizers by Zack Bruell Events & Catering, wine and beer as well as have the opportunity to bid on special treasures and exciting auction items. Cost is $50 per person OR $100 per person, patron tickets. Ticket includes appetizers and one drink. Free parking is included. Reservations can be made at CMNH.org/WC or call 216.231.4600. Proceeds from the event will provide educational camperships for deserving children ages 5-17. Campers will explore health-related careers in Junior Medical Camp, experience the natural world in Outdoor Education Camps or build and launch a rocket in Rocket Camp.
